I chose to major in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education after working with a child with downs syndrome for 2 years now. Children with a disability have nothing to give but pure love. Every one of them deserves to be treated just like any other human being. I want to help add to this cause by promoting what great aspects they can bring to our lives. We get just as much out of being around them as they do from being helped.
